Secret Of The American Story

In trying to discover the secret of America’s great advancements, it is necessary to understand the fabric of the individuals who turned this unsettled wilderness into the most advanced nation on earth. Three centuries ago a tiny handful of men and women faced life on a strange continent in order to escape the tyranny and economic slavery which covered the entire inhabited earth. The spirit FREEDOM so moved these people that they were willing to face the rigors and uncertainty of life in a wilderness, than remain in the security of bondage.

In the new land they had no homes but what they could build with their own hands before winter came. They had but scanty food and did not know what crops would thrive in this new climate. They faced the daily hazards of an inhospitable, cruel wilderness, peopled by savages. They were not supplied by any government subsidies. They did not receive any wealth from the taxpayers of another nation, and yet, out of that same wilderness, they built the greatest nation that the world has ever seen. How did they do it? What were the tools they used? The answers to these questions reveal the Secret Of The American Story.

A people are no greater than the spirit that drives them forward. The more difficult the obstacle, the stronger the WILL must be in order to overcome it. Therefore, people and their achievements are the end product of the inner strength which possesses them, and that which possessed this nation’s founders was the spirit of Christianity.

In that one word, Christianity, is stated the whole moral character of these settlers. For it was the FREEDOM to worship Jesus Christ that brought these people from civilization to a wilderness so that they might establish a MORE PERFECT civilization for them, and their posterity - a civilization whose whole culture would be founded upon Christianity, and built upon God’s Divine Law. So earnest were they in their insistence upon “PURE Christianity” that they left their homes, farms, shops, friends, and relatives in the land of their ancestors, and crossed a broad and dangerous ocean to build in the wilderness a new nation dedicated to Christianity. In the Mayflower Compact they wrote the purpose of their coming to the new world in these words: “Having undertaken (this voyage) for the glory of God, and the advancement of the Christian Faith.”

No, they did not come to America so that various 2 legged creatures could freely worship everything from Ali to Zoltar. Their faith was placed in Jesus Christ, and they sought to honor Him in all their undertakings. The United States Supreme Court in 1892 in the case of Trinity Church v. U.S., 143, U.S. 471 proclaimed that “America is a Christian Nation”. This was before Christ hating Jews and their non-white minority coalitions corrupted our government, society, culture, and civilization.

The colonies were proud to stand for Jesus Christ, and the Christian Religion, and stated as much in their original constitutions.

DELAWARE by its constitution of 1776 required every office holder to make the following declaration: “I do profess faith in God the Father, and Jesus Christ His only Son, and in the Holy Ghost, one God, blessed forevermore; and I do acknowledge the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be given by Divine inspiration.”

MASSACHUSETTS also required a declaration that: “I believe the Christian religion and have a firm persuasion of its truth.”

MARYLAND by its constitution of 1776, every person appointed to any office had to take an oath of allegiance to the State, and also to “subscribe a declaration of belief in the Christian Religion.”

NEW HAMPSHIRE required that all Senators and Representatives should be of the “Protestant religion.”

VIRGINIA denied public office to everyone that denied the “Christian religion to be true, or the Holy Scriptures of Old and New Testament to be of divine authority.”

NORTH CAROLINA by the constitution of 1776 provided: “That no person who shall deny the being of God or the truth of the Protestant religion, or the divine authority either of the Old or New Testament shall be capable of holding any office or place of trust or profit in the civil department within this State.”

VERMONT’S constitution required every member of the House of Representatives to take this oath: “I do believe in One God, the creator and governor of the universe, the rewarder of the good and punisher of the wicked, and I do acknowledge the scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be given by divine inspiration, and own and profess the Protestant religion.”

SOUTH CAROLINA by its constitution of 1776 provided that no person should be eligible to the Senate or House of Representatives “Unless he be of the Protestant religion.”

NEW JERSEY declared “that all persons professing a belief in the faith of any Protestant sect shall be capable of being elected into any office of profit or trust.”

The first schools were founded to give Christian education to their children, so that all who might come to positions of leadership would be firmly grounded in Christianity.

King’s College which is now Columbia, advertised, “The chief thing that is aimed at this college is to teach and engage the children to know God in Jesus Christ, and to live and serve Him, in all sobriety, Godliness, and Righteousness of life with a perfect heart and a willing mind.”

Amherst, Dartmouth and Yale were also established for training in the Christian faith. For the first century forty percent of Yale’s graduates became ministers of the Gospel.

Mr. Harvard in founding the Harvard University said: “Let every student be plainly instructed and earnestly pressed to consider well the main end of his life and studies is to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternal life, and therefore, to lay Christ in the bottom as the only foundation of sound Knowledge and learning.”

George Washington in directing that Sunday services be held for the soldiers said: “To the distinguished character of patriot it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian.” In 1789 he authored and signed into law a further declaration of faith.

THE FIRST PRESIDENTIAL THANKSGIVING PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favour: and
WHEREAS, both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me “To recommend to the people of the United States, a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many single favours of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of Government for their safety and happiness,
NOW THEREFORE, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the twenty-sixth day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these states, to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be: That we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the single and manifold mercies, and the favourable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of Government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted; for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge, and, in general, for all the great and various favours which He has been pleased to confer upon us.
AND ALSO, that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of nations, and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our national Government’s blessing to all the people, by constantly being a Government of wise, just and Constitutional laws, directly and faithfully obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness unto us); and to bless them with good Government, peace and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us, and generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.
GIVEN under my hand at the city of New York, the third day of October, in the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and eighty-nine. -G. WASHINGTON

Our nation was born in very dangerous times, and could not have survived if not founded on God, Jesus Christ, and Christianity. As a Christian Nation we became great and our power never weakened. The road to Victory is the same one we followed to greatness. As a Christian Nation we rose, and only as a Christian Nation can we endure. Now is the time that our white race honor its proud heritage by standing for the TRUTH, and delivering “THUS SAYETH YAHWAH OUR GOD AND FATHER in Whom we still TRUST” for this is our only hope and salvation.
